The South Course is the gem of Quinta do Lago. It was designed in 1974 by William Mitchell, and is a favourite amoungst European Tour players. The course is set amongst lakes and overlooks the Ria Formosa National Park. Host of the Portugese Open eight times, the championship staus should not deter the amateur golfer!
