Overview
Portree is a small town, set around a picturesque natural harbour.The Portree Hotel, originally built in 1875, is centrally located, built on the corner of the town’s main street, Wentworth Street and overlooking Somerled Square, the town’s main square. The main bus stop and taxi ranks are on the doorstep, offering direct links to other parts of the island. The hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, now offering 24 redesigned en-suite rooms, with all the expected facilities including 32” flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and irons.
