It opened for play just I the beginning of the nineties, therefore this course does not have a long history. However the European Club is considered to be an inspiring place to play golf. It is genuinely natural as the giant dunes and the Irish sea in the back provides a beautiful set.

Quotes: The Golf Word Expert Review perfectly summarizes what we need to know about the European Club:
“The 20-hole eccentric links is only 13 years old yet feels like it has been there forever. No wonder it's a regular stop for golf course record holder Tiger Woods on his pre-Open warm-up Tour of classic Irish links. And no wonder The European is sitting pretty in 30th spot in Golf World's Top 100 Courses You Must Play listing.”
