The academy was established in 2000 and is located 50 miles north of Edinburgh. Based, overlooking the famous 'Old Course' it offers the best training facilities in Europe, skilled tutors with experience expected of such a destination. Our head Professional George Finlayson is an adavnced PGA Tutor and is well known for organsing structured programmes to suit individual skill and ability levels.

GOLF SCHOOL SUMMER PRICE GUIDE 2007

The schools run throughout the year from the Practice Centre in St Andrews.

Orientation Meeting with Pro:
On the first morning you will meet with our Golf Professional. Here you will have the opportunity to discuss in an informal atmosphere what you personally want to achieve from your school. You will also receive your log book.

Tuition:
Each morning session will contain instruction in two skills with the opportunity for practice and feedback. Each student will have his own ideal swing model created. Two classes run each morning, one for the beginner and one for the more advanced player. For extra individual tuition see Golf Lessons

Supervised Play:
All students experience accompanied play with our professionals. This gives you the opportunity for an on course lesson including course management. More advanced players often take the opportunity to upgrade to more challenging courses.

Video:
The most advanced video technology allows the students to receive a frame by frame analysis of thier swing. You will leave with your own DVD and the offer of e-coaching support via internet.

Golf:
Unlimited play over the 'Balgove Course' St Andrews is included in school price.
The better golfer may wish to upgrade this to give unlimited play over five St Andrews Links Courses.

SCHOOLS AVAILABILITY AND BOOKING

Set schools start every Tuesday and Friday throughout the season. Other special themed dates are available. For groups of 4 or more we can arrange a private school for you group.

HOW CAN WE MAKE THE ST ANDREW GOLF ACADEMY EVEN BETTER?
Answer: By introducing Dartfish, the Gold Standard in Golf Video Analysis. Every standard of golfer can be catered for - from the complete beginner to the scratch player. The team of Professionals can offer schools lasting for 2 to 7 days, one to one instruction, blocks of lessons or the opportunity to play 18 holes with your own PGA Professional. And all at the 'Home of Golf'. With the introduction of dartfish the golfer has access to some unque training opportunities. The swing can be viewed immediately from two diferent camera angles. In addition it allows your instructer to share critical information after your lesson with voice over comments and specific frame by frame analysis you can view your own disc again and again and even receive further instruction via the internet. Many golfers find it useful to view their video clips before going out to play.

GOLF COURSE GUIDE
The New Course
	18 Holes	Par 71	6604 Yards
Offers many of the renowned features of The Old Course, rolling greens Undulating fairways, hidden greens and thick gorse regarded by many as more difficult than 'The Old'.
The Jubilee Course
	18 Holes	Par 72	6805 Yards
This is a Championship Course more than 100 years old and considered possibly as the toughest of all the St Andrews Courses.
The Eden Course
	18 Holes	Par 70	6112 Yards
Its cunningly positioned bunkers and the almost inevitable winds that roll in from the Eden Estuary make the Eden Course a most formidable but popular challenge.
The Strathtyrum Course
	18 Holes	Par 68	5600 Yards
Created as less testing layout, this course provides a balance to the championship standard at St Andrews Links. But don't relax - it still provides quite a test for even the most experienced golfer.
The Balgove Course
	9 Holes	Par 60	1530 Yards
This course has been upgraded and redesigned and is a good practice course. It is ideal for beginners and practice. A real golfing experience for the less confident golfer with good bunkers and undulating greens. This is a nine-hole course.
