“I finally have a chance to email you regarding the trip that you set up for us in Northern Ireland this past July. The accommodations were perfect both in service and location to all courses and points of interest.The golf was superb; your plans and vouchers were all on file and there were no issues at any course at any time. The Ardglass course that I played last is really fun, it has some very rugged holes early on in the round. It's perhaps more fun than many of the others as it has drivable par fours and short par fives and I should have finished under par except I limped home with a bogey, bogey, birdie finish to shoot even. It gives a golfer the rugged links experience with a chance to shoot a decent score. I really liked this course and would highly recommend it on your rota. The other courses were awesome, as one would expect from courses of their caliber. RCD and Portrush are in a class of their own with the others not far behind. Portstewart has some holes that are on par with either of the two more famous courses mentioned earlier but there are a few holes that are not world class, nevertheless it is a course I would love to play on a daily basis given the opportunity.Castlerock was a great track that I really enjoyed and although Tom Coyne in his book, A Course called Ireland had a negative experience I had just the opposite experience where the course staff that I met were extremely courteous, helpful, and welcoming. We had a tremendous holiday in Northern Ireland so thank you for your work to that end. I again want to thank you and your company for the excellent service that you provide in making golf dreams come true in the U.K. You have a standing invitation for our services as tour guide/host if you decide a trip to western Canada is ever in the cards for you. “First of all, Ian was a spectacular host and gentlemen the whole time; its amazing how we didn't have any issues with tee-times, dinner reservations, hotel accommodations or logistics and that has to be because of great planning and also Ian was on top of every detail from beginning to end...he worked hard, earned the respect of the group and deserves a raise or at a minimum a bonus for sure. I would highly recommend Scotland for Golf to anyone that is considering a trip to the home of golf. From the initial planning calls and ongoing consultation, it was clear that you knew your stuff about the courses, locations & hotels and what we should consider for such a trip. It was truly the trip of a lifetime as described and we reminisce every chance we get about the great weather, awesome championship courses and outstanding food and hotel accommodations. I only wish my forearm was more fully healed so I could have enjoyed the golf more but I take great comfort in the fact that I will now have to come back to the Old Course and slay it at a later time when I am healthy and my game is back to par. (no pun intended) Scott, on behalf of the group, a fabulous job well done to you and your Dad (the finest Haggis Toaster in the Land) and of course Ian.
